We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant CZK/SK (m/ž) for our client located in Prague. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accounting books in accordance with local and International Financial Reporting Standards. You will prepare local financial statements, handle VAT returns, and support annual CIT calculations. Key duties will include booking payroll, accruals, and month-end journals, as well as providing input for transfer pricing documentation and issuing intercompany recharges. You will also be tasked with maintaining balance sheet hygiene, preparing reconciliations, and participating in global finance projects. The role involves controlling P2P activities, managing the creation of purchase orders, handling goods received, processing supplier invoicing, and establishing new suppliers. Collaboration with Big Four and tax auditors will be required to ensure tax compliance, in conjunction with tax experts. This position includes the responsibility of managing one direct report.
