We are seeking a Junior BI Developer to join our DWH Analytics team. This role will support data integration into our Snowflake Data Warehouse, assist with DBT transformations, and help create Power BI reports. You will work closely with senior team members to learn and contribute to our data warehouse maintenance and BI initiatives.
Job Role and Responsibilities
... - Data Integration and Management:
- Assist in implementing and maintaining data integration processes to bring new data to Snowflake DWH under supervision.
- Learn and apply DBT for data transformation tasks, following established patterns and best practices.
- Help monitor data quality and participate in troubleshooting data issues with guidance from senior team members.
- Data Modeling and Analytics:
- Support senior developers in implementing data models within Snowflake, learning best practices for data warehouse modeling.
- Participate in requirements gathering sessions to understand business needs and help translate them into technical solutions.
- BI Reporting and Visualization:
- Create and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards under guidance, ensuring accuracy and clarity in data presentation.
- Collaborate with team members to understand reporting requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.
- Actively participate in team knowledge-sharing sessions and technical discussions.
- Take initiative to learn new technologies and best practices in data warehousing and BI development.
- Document processes and maintain technical documentation for assigned projects.

who we are looking for
- Basic understanding of SQL and database concepts.
- Basic knowledge of data warehousing principles.
- Familiarity with BI tools, preferably Power BI.
- Strong analytical mindset and eagerness to learn.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of DBT and Snowflake is a plus but not required.
